This life-sized model is crafted from specialized plastic. It can be disassembled into 15 parts, including the transparent left cerebral cortex connected to the cranial base with the superior sagittal sinus; the cervical spine with the spinal cord and vertebral artery; the transparent right cerebral cortex; the right hemi-sphenoid bone; a detachable brainstem that can be separated into right and left halves; the right and left insular cortices; the left corpus striatum; the right internal capsule; the corpus callosum; the right and left hemispheres of the cerebellum; the limbic system with fornix; and the entire ventricular system. It is mounted on a base.
