LARYNX WITH TRACHEA (ENLARGED)

This model, made from specialized plastic, is enlarged to twice its natural size. It consists of 6 pieces. The larynx and trachea can be separated at the 6th tracheal cartilage level. The larynx can be separated into two halves along the midline. Detachable components include the right thyroid cartilage, cricothyroid muscle, and thyrohyoid muscle. The trachea shows the point where it divides into the main bronchi and branches into the lobular bronchi. The model is mounted on a base.
